The Face Behind the Business

About Me

Hi! I’m Chloe, I'm 26 and I live in Wootton, Northampton.

I have a huge love and genuine passion for dogs. For as long as I can remember, working with dogs has always been my dream and I feel so lucky that it is now my reality!

Bobby’s Adventures was established in September 2024 as a tribute to my beloved childhood dog, Bobby, who passed away at the age of 15 in February 2024. Bobby was my best friend since I was 10 years old and brought immense joy to my life. In memory of him, I decided to launch a dog services business to share my passion for dogs.

I have also been volunteering weekly in the kennels at Animals in Need since June 2024. It’s so rewarding to know that I’m making such a difference for so many loving and deserving dogs that are in search of their forever homes!

I have experience working with a variety of dog breeds - of all shapes and sizes - including dogs with behavioural concerns, anxiety and reactivity.

Your dog's welfare is my number one priority, and I treat every dog like my own.

Frequently Asked Questions

I currently offer dog walking and dog sitting at your home.  As my business expands, I aspire to provide more services in the future, so stay tuned for updates!

The Meet and Greet is an important part of my service, conducted prior to confirming and accepting any new clients. This can be scheduled at your convenience; whether it’s during the week, evening or weekend.

This complimentary 20-30 minute session includes myself, your dog(s), and you, providing an opportunity for us to familiarise ourselves with one another before our appointments begin.

During this meeting, we will review introductory forms and other essential details.

Yes!

Heat - When the weather is hot and it's evident the dogs are struggling in the heat; hour walks will be shortened accordingly. If it is too hot for dogs to walk an alternative service such as a home visit will be offered.

Heavy Rain - The visit will still be 1 hour in duration but walks may be shortened to enable Bobby’s Adventures to get the dogs dried off and make sure they are comfortable before leaving.

Freezing, ice, and snow - If the weather is below freezing and paths/roads are icy, walks and visits may be cancelled due to safety issues. You will still be charged if cancelled due to ice/snow, but at a 50% reduced rate.

This can be up to 4 dogs at a time. In order to comply with recent PSPO regulations covering the whole of Northamptonshire, the maximum number of dogs that a single person can walk is 4 dogs in a public space, unless you are a registered day care or home boarder.

Secure field walks maybe up to 6 dogs at a time.

A van! This is the safest way to transport your dogs, it has 4x secure crates, an area for a large dog with a seatbelt and a car seat upfront for the smaller doggies.

Each crate has a non-spill water bowl as well as a fan for the hot days. The van does have air conditioning and anything you could need for a dog!

The floors and walls are also insulated to keep them warm in the winter and cool in the summer, as well as sound-proofed to make their journey as smooth as possible.

ONLY with your permission! During the meet and greet I will go through an Off Lead Consent Form with you.

If you cancel your walk or visit with LESS than 48 hours notice - You will be charged the FULL rate.

Bank Transfer only - Invoices are sent out weekly on a Friday to be paid by the Sunday. Any late payment will incur a £5.00 late payment fee added onto your next invoice.

For Overnight Stays/Day & Night, the final payment will be invoiced and due two weeks before your booking

Yes -  For Overnight Stays/Day & Night ONLY: A 20% non-refundable deposit will be required to secure your dates, the final payment will be invoiced and due two weeks before your booking.

Animals In Need Fundraiser

Animals In Need Northamptonshire

This year I am participating in two events for Animals in Need.

I will be abseiling 418ft down the old Northampton Lift Tower on May 10th and skydiving on July 19th!!

Animals in Need is an organisation dedicated to rescuing sick, injured, trapped, and distressed wild and domestic animals.

Since June 15th 2024, I have been volunteering weekly in the kennels at Animals in Need. It's so rewarding to know that I’m making a difference for so many loving and deserving dogs that are in search of their forever homes!

Animals in Need depends on the generosity of volunteers and donations. If you would like to donate to my JustGiving page, it would be greatly appreciated!🐾

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
